Data Consultant

Job description

As a Data Consultant, you are responsible for developing data strategies, analyzing data sets and sources, and providing actionable insights to support our clients' business goals.

You work closely within multidisciplinary teams to identify data needs, develop analytical models and data & AI solutions, and communicate findings to stakeholders. You will work with our people who have expertise in machine learning, back-end, data and consulting. Together, they contribute to technological innovations that support the growth of our customers. You'll be immersed in the customer's organization and you'll have a direct impact on how companies operate and grow!

In addition, you can grow rapidly within the company, set up your own team, manage customer relationships, and contribute to the growth of our own data services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and data requirements
• Collection, processing and analysis of data sets from various sources.
• Developing and implementing data strategies to optimize business operations and stimulate growth.
• Creating and maintaining data models, dashboards and reports (and/or providing support to other team members in this regard).
• Providing useful insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Presenting findings to customers and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and consultancy.
• Developing plans, strategies and advising customers on how to use data for valuable insights and actions.
• Working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that generate real impact.
• Developing and improving our data services, contributing to the overall growth of the company.

What we're looking for in our new Data Consultant:

• 2-5 years of experience with data-driven projects.
• Proven experience as a Data Consultant, Data Analyst or similar role.
• Bachelor in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field. A completed Master is preferred.
• Good technical knowledge in setting up strategies and consultancy.
• Data visualization tools such as Tableau whether Power BI you know like the back of your hand.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is required.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts into customer-friendly language.
