Business & IT Consultant

Feature Overview

We are looking for a Business & IT Consultant to stimulate digital transformation and make an impact for our customers. The ideal candidate has the ambition to work on defining enterprise architecture strategies, change management during IT implementations, and acts as a bridge between our technical team and other stakeholders. In this position, you literally bridge the gap between business & IT. Of course, you will not do this alone, but together with our great team!

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & IT Consulting:
   • Analyze organizations' existing processes and IT landscape and recommend improvements or changes in line with an organization's goals.
   • Setting up IT strategies for a future-proof business architecture.
   • Talk to external suppliers, review solutions to make sure they fit into an organization's IT strategy.
   • Provide strategic insight and direction on IT infrastructure, software solutions and technological innovations.
   • Collaborate with customers to improve their organization and solve their IT and workflow problems by applying (our) defined frameworks, but also by thinking outside the box.
2. BI analysis (optional):
   • Communicate between senior management and the IT department and analyze data to determine a company's needs.
   • Setting up data visualizations and dashboards to provide management insight.
3. Stakeholder communication:
   • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders with regard to our projects.
   • Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical team members.
   • Present regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
4. Define clear solution requirements, objectives, and timelines.
   • Define requirements with customers and translate these requirements into action points that are addressed by the development team.
   • Determine whether the development team's output meets the customer's solution expectations.
   • Maintain close communication with the customer and team members for smooth delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferably also in possession of a master's degree.
• Previous experience in IT consulting, project manager, or related areas.
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to tackle complex cross-functional projects.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch.
