Data Specialist
You build the data foundations that make BI dashboards and AI agents possible for our customers.

The short version
We are looking for a medior Data Specialist to strengthen our team in Enschede. You build the data foundations that make BI dashboards and AI agents possible for our customers. You connect messy, fragmented systems into a clean and reliable data platform. If you love variety, working on real business problems and seeing that your work is actually being used, this is the role for you.
About Flawless Workflow
Flawless Workflow builds Data and AI platforms that help organizations work smarter. We connect their systems, centralize their data, provide real-time insights via dashboards, and deploy AI agents that automate repetitive work. Our customers range from housing associations and municipalities to production companies and construction suppliers.
We have 24 people. The team is young, growing fast and takes what we build seriously. No corporate layers and no endless rounds of approval. From day one, you get real ownership and plenty of room to grow with the company.
What you're going to do
A typical project looks like this: a customer has data spread across an ERP system, a CRM, a few Excel files, and maybe one or two legacy databases. Our backend developers build the links with those source systems. From there, you take over. You design the data warehouse in Postgres, model the data with dbt, and bring it to life in dashboards and make it available so that AI agents can run on it.
On a daily basis, this means that you:
- The data warehouse layer designs and builds, and converts raw loaded data into a well-structured Postgres database
- Data models in dbt creates and maintains that transform raw data into reliable, well-documented datasets
- Python writes for custom transformations, integrations, and automation
- Builds dashboards that give customers real-time insight into their processes and performance
- Works closely with backend developers (who provide links to source systems) and machine learning engineers (who build the AI agents that run on your data)
- Work directly with customers to understand their processes, KPIs and data landscape
- Continuously improves data quality, performance and reliability across projects
What we're looking for
- 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
- Strong skills in SQL and Python. These are your daily tools
- Experience with Postgres and dbt
- Experience with Power BI
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a technical field, such as computer science, engineering, information systems or similar
- You are happy to work on location in Enschede
Nice bonus, but not necessary:
- Experience with Django
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
What makes this role interesting
- Variety. You're not maintaining the same pipeline for years. Each customer has a different structure, different systems and different challenges.
- Impact. The data platforms you build form the basis for AI agents and dashboards that customers use every day. Your work provides immediate results.
- AI and data engineering come together. This isn't a traditional data warehousing job. You build the infrastructure that makes AI agents possible and you see up close how that comes together.
- Growth. In a team of 24, you don't have to wait for your turn. If you want more responsibility, want to lead projects or want to deepen your technical expertise, that space is there.
- Strong team around you. You are not alone. You work with backend engineers, machine learning engineers and other data engineers who help each other every day. It is a young and ambitious team that shares knowledge, solves problems together and genuinely enjoys what it builds.
