What are you going to do?

As a Data & IT Business Consultant, you are the link between business and our technical team. You translate business goals into data and AI roadmaps, drive implementation and configure our solutions for customers.

Your responsibilities:

• Strategic advice: Analyze customer IT systems, processes, and business goals. Identify inefficiencies and translate them into concrete improvement opportunities with data and AI.
• Data & AI strategy: Develop data and AI roadmaps for customers, define KPI trees, identify use cases, and explain potential and business value.
• Requirements management: Gather and translate business needs into clear requirements for our engineers. Act as a liaison between customers and the development team.
• Deployment and configuration: Drive the implementation of our data platform and solutions with customers. Configure the platform, dashboards, and AI solutions based on customer needs.
• Project Management: Manage budgets, planning, scope, and expectations of data and AI projects. Coordinate internal teams (engineers, data analysts, workflow consultants) and customers.
• BI Strategy and Design: Work with customers on a BI strategy that aligns with business goals. Define requirements for dashboards and reports that make insights actionable.
• Product feedback: Provide input to our product team based on customer needs and field experience to further develop our solutions.

Who are we looking for?

• Training: HBO/WO in Business Administration, Business IT & Management, Computer Science, Data Science or a similar field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a similar role as a business consultant, data consultant, business analyst or product owner in a data/IT environment.
• Technical: General understanding of data and technical concepts, including data platforms, data architecture, and basic knowledge of AI/ML applications.
• Business: You can analyse business processes, define KPIs and translate them into data solutions. You think from business value.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills. You effortlessly translate between business and IT, and know how to turn ambiguity into clarity.
• Problem solving ability: You quickly identify where customization is needed and when standard solutions are sufficient.
• Independent and collaborative: You work independently, but interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and customers at different levels.
• Languages: Excellent Dutch and good English, spoken and written.
